Format: Hybrid Meetings (In person and via Zoom)
Schedule: Third Sundays at 2:00 PM
The Asheville Stamp Club (ASC) typically meets the third Sunday of each month, except for December when a Holiday lunch is hosted. The ASC was an early adopter of online meetings via Zoom and we continue to support remote members by broadcasting every meeting. Please note that guests are welcome at meetings in person or via Zoom.
Below is the 2025 meeting schedule and Zoom links. If you are attending via Zoom, you may connect at 1:30 PM. This allows us to help you before the meeting starts if there are any technical issues.

Room open for members to socialize and flip through 5-cent albums.
Freebies table open.
The club’s 2023 Scott Catalogues, Volumes 1–6, A–Z, in 12 volumes plus the 2023 US Specialized & World Classics 1840–1940 are available to view at the meeting or check out.
2:00 PM
Meeting called to order.
Door prizes and 50-50 drawing awarded.
Old and new business reviewed.
Member show and tell.
2:30 PM
Expert presentation AND/OR Club member auction.
4:00 PM
Meeting concludes. Everyone returns home happy with their newest acquisitions!
Silent Auctions
When the club acquires a special collection, it may hold a silent auction. During the meeting from 1:00–3:00 PM, albums/items may be reviewed and bid on. To bid, simply put your name on the sheet(s) for the album(s) you want, and then watch the bidding. Pay attention to mandatory bid increments. When the silent auction concludes, the highest bidder for each album/item wins it and pays in person.
ASC currently accepts cash and check payments at club meetings.
ASC Club Auction Information
ASC regularly holds a club auction as part of our meeting. Auctions also follow a hybrid model. Many club members bring items in to auction in person. Members can also upload items they wish to offer to both local and remote users. These tend to be smaller lots since shipping costs can become an issue.
Guests are welcome to watch club auctions, but they are not allowed to participate.
The ASC auction catalog can be viewed at any time, but please note that lots are usually only added a few weeks or days before a monthly auction.
